Welcome to Biblora ("Service"), operated by Rigóczki Tamás EV. ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of forming a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

• You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.
• Email verification is required. Accounts that remain unverified for more than 48 hours will be permanently deleted without notice.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription, Billing & Cancellation

Free Accounts

By default new accounts enjoy free access to core features such as (search and add all types of books, add private reading logs, add private notes, set book as finished, view TBR in progress and finished books).

Premium Subscription

After the Free Period, continued access to premium features requires an active paid subscription ("Premium").

Billing

Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non‑refundable.

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through your account settings using Gumroad, Biblora's payment provider; Premium features remain available until the end of the current paid term.

5. Data & Privacy

We collect only the data necessary to operate the Service (e.g., account credentials and reading‑log data). For details see our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The Service may display information retrieved from the OpenLibrary API. We do not control, and are not responsible for, content provided by OpenLibrary or any other third party.

All software, design, and other materials comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual‑property laws. You may use the Service only as expressly permitted in these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non‑infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rigóczki Tamás EV. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. You agree that any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Jász‑Nagykun‑Szolnok County, Hungary.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes that do not materially affect your rights or obligations may take effect immediately. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice via the Service or email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
